Merry Christmas memories...

One of the funnest
things we did was
go to downtown
Akron to see the
Christmas window
displays that two
department stores
would decorate every year.

Polsky's and O'Neil's
made it magical with
new displays and
animation every
Christmas.

I liked walking on
the sidewalk to get
a close-up view.

Both stores are gone now
and I haven't been
downtown in many years.

I'm glad I have the memories.

Merry Christmas to all!

Don't forget to bring in your peacocks tonight or...

 they might look like this...

They say ugly weather
is heading our way.

Get prepared.

Stay home.

Take care of
your critters.

Happy Thanksgiving...

Give thanks,
be grateful
for whatever
you have,
especially if
you have
enough to share.

(needs more whipped cream.)

It makes so much sense...

A little bit of pretty...

I have things
to talk about
but
I can't seem
to gather them
into a
sensible order.
Don't worry.
Nothing tragic.
I'll figure it out.

Quiet people...

I wish I could remember where I found this.
I'm getting careless in my copy and paste.

What makes it art?...

 Interpretation and perspective...

A unique take on a morning glory done
in oil and crayon...

or a dense cluster of pansies that might
be a photograph.

We get to choose which approach we like best
or...what a novel idea.. love it all.

April was a very lonnnng month...

 I'm tired. We're all tired.

April was full of doctors, tests, surgeries, more doctors and
an expensive vehicle repair. Oh, and physical therapy.

From the way May is starting, this month is going to be just as intense.
