It's early...
Beiber did his job well. 12 Ks in 6 innings.
Still lost 3-2 even after Roberto Perez hit a 2-run homer.
The weather didn't help.

Baseball 2020...
It's finally back but it's weird.
If you don't follow, you don't care.
If you do follow, you already know.
If you don't follow, you don't care.
If you do follow, you already know.

Wanna see what Cleveland's pitchers do when they're not pitching?...
Probably not, but I'll show you anyway...
They (Cookie Carrasco and Trevor Bauer, mostly) make mini-balls
representing all the players on the roster.
Yan Gomes, Brandon Guyer, Andrew Miller.
Jose Ramirez
Josh Tomlin, Cody Allen
Trevor Bauer with a drone on his head.
and of course, Manager Terry Francona.
If you're familiar with the team, you'll recognize some of the
personality details of individuals. If not, maybe just appreciate
the creativity of a bunch of jocks.

Class acts all around...
Mutual admiration society.
(click above for full article.)
"CLEVELAND -- When it was over, Royals third baseman Mike Moustakas turned and tipped his cap to the Tribe dugout, the 34,025 in attendance at Progressive Field rose to their feet and applauded the home club and the members of said club strolled out of the dugout, turned to the audience and applauded them right back."
Makes me proud to be a fan.

May Daze...
The first Saturday in May will be saturated
in baseball, after the lawn gets mowed.
Might the Indians continue their winning streak?
My sisters and I will be cheering them on from the
comfort of the living room. There may be margaritas
to accent the mood.
After the game, win or lose, we'll grab an early dinner
and then see the Jackie Robinson movie '42'.
