Competitive mice racing,
send them in,
they do the same.

Hrmm, I do not know the rules for your poetry or rhymes, I suppose that is as close as a cat gets to barking or is it as close as a dog gets to meowing?

I like several of yours. Well, all of them. Lots of help there, but... I think drunks is the most modern, up-to-date one though. But Terry Bradshaw one has a nice (sad, good, longing) memory factor.

You're in the ballpark, Doom...heh.
5 syllables, 7 syllables, 5 syllables. That's the haiku form Sparrow uses.

I have a book translated from Japanese, and the guy who did the translating spent a bit of time with it...
seventeen syllables.
just seventeen syllables.
Giving the first or the last word to the author allows a second dimension to the piece.

It'd be hard for me to get less productive.

Not sure if that came out right.
