I have a few of those nearby. Hear them at night. At once, at first, they were frightening. Now they provide nothing but comfort. I send prayers that they find mice, and end them.
They are beautiful, too. If, even for one such as me, a bit... unnerving. Then again, I think similarly of women. *smile*
