Apparently, it's happened before...

“It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold: when it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade.”
Charles Dickens, Great Expectations

That's how it's been here, lately.
Quite lovely.

I should learn to appreciate any good while it's here,
but I keep thinking about "March comes in like a lion
and goes out like a lamb...or...comes in like a lamb and
goes out like a lion."

Either way, I'm not in charge of the weather.
I'll keep a snow shovel handy next to my sunglasses.

Every other day it gets wonderful or seems to go or threaten to go mean. With chores, I have to go out every day. I have learned to smile right in the face of the worst of it... if too I hurry to get my freezing butt back in door... smiling all the way. Though, I must admit, even then I sort of enjoy. I won't let the worst win. And? I've actually learned to really enjoy smiling, even if only on the inside, sometimes with a little friendly chuckle. If I were a cold wind, I know where I would sneak. :p

May your spring be less snowy and more funny. And watch those cold winds.

Smiling more is a good thing.
