If there were no calendars would we notice?...

Or would we use each day to start over, remember, reflect,
forgive, rejoice, learn, move ahead, appreciate ...?

I am often castigated for not knowing a date or remembering this or that. every day begins with a dawn and ends with the just able to see light of a coming dawn. I generally get where I am supposed to be during any given day--that's good enough.

As one who has lived as if no calendar was in affect for 25 of the last t 30 years, off and on, sometimes into these times, some things amaze me. One is that most people who wish things rushed are crooks or bureaucrats with only self interest... docs often included. Time is their money. I am amazed at how little time really matters. Even often dates stamped on foods, though either way. Just had three gallons of milk bad the day I got them home, even dated for another week.

I tell you, if Christ can handle my celebration when I may, all others can get in line. Still, I do try. Mother's day, her birthday, Christmas, and maybe Lent and Easter this year. It's been a good run, if much else is missed. Oh, another thought? From missing so often, like Christmas and Easter, rather than some other day? I think, in another sense, all other days. Not sure if that is for all, or should be. If you live in a Dali painting... Well...

Mark, I love your attitude.

Doom, I admit, some days are more important than others.

Thank you, Joe. Same to you.

Bonnie, I wish you all the best.
