Used to be...

love you,
walk away.
hate you,
stay.
no sense.
nonsense.
no more.

Sounds like love and passion. Who needs it?

Up until very recently... this was the story of my life. I am now at the "no more" stage.

Once again Jean, you have nailed an entire life story in just a few words.

Bravo!!

... a complete life is filled with duality.....

...but, duality can sometimes be painful conflict.

I believe I am with anon. I searched for one, thought I kept finding only the other and was about to give up, when, bam, I realized they are the same in that one cannot be without the other. Or, at least, if you hate and stay, doesn't that mean you love? Uhm, women don't make sense to me though, so...

Your poem nails it, though does it disclaim it or our disdain for the fact of it? I like puzzles. But I like to hear peoples answers too, if they have them?

Doom - I don't believe that hating has anything to do with healthy love. Some are afraid to leave, afraid to be alone. Yet, some will run away from good love... fearing they will sacrifice something in themselves or 'freedom'. Some do not believe they are worth being loved. I believe it takes a healthy person to have a healthy love with another person.
