Make your own snow(flakes)...

Personally, I'm not upset about not having a
white Christmas this year.
Last winter's excess did me in for a long time.

Enjoy the mild weather and have a
very Merry Christmas, my friends.

nine days...

 ...until Christmas.

People will be busy finishing
their shopping for family
and friends.

Maybe they'll add a gift or donation for people they don't know.
Many people are nice like that.

Maybe they'll take time to reach out to some folks
they've been missing because the emails and phone calls
haven't happened in a while.
Everyone's life is busy.

Maybe they'll come across
a box or an album full of old
photos of dear ones no longer
living.
The memories might bring a
tear but also a smile.

To my friends and family near and far,
may your Christmas be Merry and Bright.

early Christmas present...

This week my friend and I were told that
we will be moved to full-time as of January 4.
Plus, my 90-day probation is up this coming
Tuesday so, I'll be getting a raise.

Two excellent reasons for celebrating, eh?

She and I won't get paid for the business holiday shut-down
for the last two weeks of December and the first three days
of January but, we knew that from the start so budgeting
was necessary. I'll make it.

The crawl back up the hill is much slower than the slide down.
Still, this is good news and I am grateful.

Let it snow for some.
