Oh, I try. Not sure what Sassy is saying. We... are just starting, again. I knew what Sam was on about, she took lead and spoke for both of them. Sassy is having to learn to figure me out, and the obverse.
I listen. I do. I'll get it eventually. I try to listen to all of my animals. They really do have things to say, things on their mind, and interesting... perspectives... if you learn to listen.
I haven't sorted out my rabbits, though. If interaction is limited. They just weren't people critters, from who had them before. So...
Sassy will let you know what it's all about.

We had a couple of them, once. The male stomped on the babies! If that's not retarded I don't know WHAT is.

Hehe. Well, I think the problem is, male rabbits aren't supposed to be in with kits. Kits will try to suckle anything warm and large, which... just doesn't work for the guys. Lady rabbits seem to enjoy, or at least tolerate. Not so much the Bucks.
Also, it used to be why men went to work, and women stayed home with the... kits. Works out better that way, for most species.
