ow. ow. ow...

 I fell.

Snow + Ice + Steps = FWOOOOMP.

When I landed, I was afraid to move 'cuz you know
women of a certain age have a tendency to have brittle bones.
I landed so hard that my head was rattled but it was my
left butt cheek and my tailbone that took the brunt.
After a minute I very carefully maneuvered myself up
on my knees and then took another minute to stand.

I was able to clean off the steps and sidewalk and gingerly
let myself back into the house before I started shaking.
That was four nights ago and my tailbone is still
screaming at me.

I want it to stop snowing now.

Oh, little one. I so worry when I hear such things. I will put you to the front of the prayer list. I wish I could send you some of my... resistance to such things, take your pain and injury. It just doesn't work that way. Prayers, though. For mind and body. It sounds like you, probably, made it through without a serious injury. Even if it might not feel like it. Either way, be careful and prayers on the way.

I think my plentiful padding on my buttocks did me a favor this time.
And both sisters were home so they could have called 911 if needed.
Still, prayers are appreciated.

Snow and ice are a real pain in the rear.

Seriously, I hope you are feeling better.

Thanks, Joe. Definitely improving.

And, yes, it's really me, Freddie. :)

And, also yes. The snow n bitter c-c-cold can just get-the-heck OUT as far as I'm concerned.

I'm almost back to normal, Freddie. Well, normal for me.

We're all supposed to get dumped on pretty heavy in a couple of days.
Dammit.

I'm glad it's really you :-)
