I am positive that worldly sanity does not contain truth. Half truths? About, yes. Reminds me of someone I was taught to avoid. To find truth, you will have to give up your desires for fleshly things. Not as in never having access to those, just limiting use to within certain parameters. Foregoing some altogether.
If you lose your mind, in or out of that process, the chance of finding the truth is slim. Just because it lies out of your mind, doesn't mean you will find it by going there. Much is out of our minds, beyond sanity. Very little of it is the repository of truth. And... the truth hurts... like hell some say, if I think they don't know about that which they speak.
Now, if you find the truth, it is part of your quest, and leads you outside of your mind? If you find it, you will never be able to return to within your mind... or this world... and remain true and honest. Either the truth will become your new home, even while it is out of your mind and even this world, or you will return to worldly things... and die and be dead to truth.
Believe as you will. Choose as you must. Does that make me crazy? According to this world, absolutely. But... is this world, as it is, really sane, good, or where you want to be for eternity? Choices.
Well, that is quite the treatise. Gives much to ponder.
My original thoughts were more along the lines of: if I stay inside my own head, focusing only on myself and whatever I think at the time are most important, I risk pushing myself closer to the edge of insanity. Whereas, if I wake up to being more aware of others, that can be more enjoyable and healing for me and them. Giving me a better chance to balance my life, maintain stability and retain my semblance of sanity.
Ah. That... is a different program entirely. I think that works too. I... definitely try to use forms of differential equations on everything. Not always successfully, mind you. But, yes, I... see your point.
