Where's the beach?...

Brother Tom and his family went to Orlando for Christmas
and New Year's and all I got were these drool-worthy photos.
They say they had a terrific time.
I am such a weirdo... the huge crowds would have been more
than I could stand. I long for peace and quiet and isolation.
And not one trip to the beach? Really? tsk tsk.

It's always good to hear someone enjoyed an outing. Still, I am with you. Small, less crowded, and a beach. Toss in a beachside fresh caught meal and that would be enough... with a friend or three, or even alone. I do miss seafood. Ripe off the boat. I almost really don't care what is being served, as long as it's fresh and the chef knows his product. Squid, most fish, clams, or... whatever. Oh, and beer. Thankfully that last I have on supply these days.

Hmm... You know what surprises me? You haven't returned for a visit. I am sure you have friends back there. Transport would be it. You might even be able to take your sis with, show her the ropes. Though, perhaps I missed something (or forgot). I'd be willing to spot some dough, maybe others might too? Yeah.

Doom, I went to Florida last October. Carol was doing better then.
Too much going on for me to get away now. Our sister Ann is a great help but she has a job. I need to be here to get Carol to dr visits, medical tests, chemo etc. Carol refuses to fly, so any time away would have to be driving.
That's a sweet offer to help but as long as the situation stays shakey we'll be staying put.
