ain't nothin'...

so,
an afterthought,
if that.
not even a
backward glance.
one more
disposable toy.

I've felt that way on many an occasion. Easy to sink into it.

But... then a friend calls or writes, somebody does something nice, even just a touch of caring empathy.... and the course shifts.

Yes.... been disposable before... and usually watched Karma kick some butt before too much time had passed. Fun to watch... but a little pointless.

Best way for me... when I have to recover from that.. is to do something totally for my own peasure, or something I am especially good at. Reminds me of.... me.

It's ironic in a way........that we don't appreciate things when we have them as much as when they are gone. Some say we live in a disposable society. Fine things should always be appreciated... ...polished...shined... maintained...
...cared for. That reminds me...... I need to go out and sharpen all the drill bits accumulating in my drill bit box.

Thought it might be a good pick me up for you.
