My Lord, Harrison
My efforts usually suck, this one more than ever. I could not think of a good third line. The five syllables limited using Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte by Patti Page or James Taylor's How sweet it is.
Joe, your haikus never suck.
You could always try another using those other two in the seven syllable line.
That's how I usually end up with more than one. The possible variations go on and on.
The portents of a good day.
The makings of a good night.
Manufacturing in the good old days.
The battle of the bulge.
Oh noes, you DO know some science, chemistry, biology, and history!
ha...Doom, I'm old. I should know many things.
Jean should I move doom's and Joe's haiku to my blog?
Joe doesn't usually enter the contests, just tosses his creativity here. And, Doom didn't do a haiku, he commented on each of mine. :-)
So, I guess that would be 'nah'.
oaky doky.
i'm starting to think it's high time rubenesque was back in style. i've always loved that sketch. nice haiku, btw. i'm thinking curmudgeon is going to have his job cut out for him.
Thanks, Foam. Did you toss one into the mix? I hope so, I always like your haiku.
Good evening Jean,
Just want to thank you. The Oompa Loompas song finally got, Christmas Bells out of my head. I'm hoping for a quick replacement.
And so you know, to my mind. Rubenesque is in style.
Karl, good grief. I never thought of that as a side affect. Let's see...I know! Go with the Beach Boys. Maybe.
;-)
If Rubenesque is is style, I am good to go.
Thanks for visiting!
