I said, 'She's an orphan now...' and my son looked at me and said, "Mom, she's in her 40s..." I told him it matters not your age, when you lose your parents, you aren't getting new ones... you're an orphan.

Orphan...that's exactly how it feels.
Mom died in 1987, Dad in 1990.
Both too young.
