Headstone...

whatever happens when,
don't remember
how I died.
remember how I lived.

Well said.

I am getting around to putting the ashes of the mate where the family wants them.

He always wanted his head stone to say, "What are you looking at?"

It will.

I want to be remembered for my good taste.

Yep, I want to be barbequed and served along with fresh bread, fresh asparagus, corn on the cob, and watermelon slices.

"He cooked well, even at the end."

Oh, I'm just goofy tired. I suppose I agree with you. As a fact, I fear not even being remembered at all at my own funeral (or maybe it will just be recycling or dumping by then?). So cheery too. Though I had and do wish to be cremated, since becoming Catholic, I will probably take a dirt nap instead. Not even a ceremonial barbeque I guess.

I dunno... it all depends on, well, how you die.

Folks don't really remember the PEOPLE from 911 so much as the way they died.

'Course, I absolutely understan what yer sayin'.

On the other hand, I would rather have tried harder if it's tomorrow, so, tomorrow, I will try harder.

She's got an open invite fer poets there, lordy lordy.

Oh no, not again...
It's too late to entertain

I'm gonna go home now before the poet police report me.

Og - thank you.

Val - I'm thinking he had a great sense of humor. ...and he dearly loved a strong, beautiful lady.
*hugs*

Jack - remember the WHOLE life...

Doom - ha... I have no response to that :)
I paid for my cremation a few years ago. No muss, no fuss for whomever gets to deal with it.

Berry - we should all keep trying...

I'll check out LW40.

Mick -??...you want to live in a van by the river...??
