Don't know who to congratulate, here.
I mean, it is your property, and it is your pick of plant, but it seemed to me that Sparky was the regular gardner, there...
d=^))
he got him some fine Rosito, eh?

ha...Sparky does his best to keep the soil 'aerated', shall we say.

I'm so jealous of your beautiful roses. The only one that does consistently well in my Austin garden is the old heirloom, Martha Gonzales.

It give a tiny red bloom, not very showy or fragrant unless the entire bush is lit up with a hundred flowers all at once. It's a true treasure when it comes into its full glory twice a year.

It's too dry and scorching here for most roses or anything else not orange for that matter. I do miss my midwest gardens full of roses, peonies, hydrangea and every bulb I could lay my hands on.

I meant to bookmark and blogroll you a long time back, Jean. I'm sorry it skipped my mind. Your pretty place deserves a regular visit to refresh the soul.

I will always miss the peonies and lilacs from Ohio. oh, and, Lily of the Valley.

If I showed you the straggly bush these yellow beauties are hanging from...well, it ain't that pretty.

I'll be honored to see you here anytime, Daphne.
