Why do we do it -- remember the things we did NOT do rather than the things we did well? Your mom undoubtedly loved you and knew how much you loved her. That's what I prefer to think about my relationship with my mom who died in '66 at the age of 49. I miss Mommy sooooo much. Our moms taught us well.
I dunno, Bonnie. Maybe it's my catholic background... self-flagellating and forever doing penance. Although, my brain asks what is the good in that? Done is done. Yes, she did love me. She was a good, good mom to all of us kids.
Although, I'll probably never stop wishing we'd had more time together. Now, I'm gonna go ponder the good stuff. Thanks, dear.
I haven't changed at all?? ha! You sweet thing, you. I went through a huge box of old photos (the one here was the first one on top)the other day and I have a feeling I'll be sharing more of them over time. I can show you several faces of Jean. d;-)

But remembered, none the less.
Much remembered.
She obviously did a great job.
Gotta call Mom . . .
Thank you, girlfriend. Hope she thought so.
Definitely call your mom.
well, I guess we can always think she might be a 23 year old somewhere.
Funny...
My daughter is 23.
I hope they're both having fun.

Oh my goodness! What a charming photo. You have a beautiful mom, Jean. And you, my dear, haven't changed at all ;)
I think it's just natural for us to always miss our parents ..
