Lay-off #3...

got me.

Might go for a walk on the beach.
Or not.

Back later.

I'm fine.

You're in my prayers, Jeannie dear.

The good thing is you did make it this far and got some warning. I hope you were able to... prepare a bit. But...

Hey, take care and keep your head about you. I will put a prayer together. Perhaps you find some small relief in not having the axe in the air? Though a bit worried, I have faith in you too. I'm figuring out to do with the wall I just hit too, I am sure we will be fine, if retasking is a pain.

Well, you saw it coming. At least it's done with.
Sorry still though.

So sorry. Often it can be a true blessing in disguise. Perhaps this is the nudge needed to let you make a change in your life. Prayers for you....

Jean, if you need, ask.

Been there. Like the others said, it may be good that you saw the possibility coming and were prepared. But we're never really prepared, are we? It may seem trite now, but adversity is most often an opportuity (Hamburger king Dave Thomas told me that once when I was interviewing him for a newspaper article). Hang in there.... And stay focused not just on the needs of Jeannie Inc., but on Jeannie the person!

Crap. That freaking blows. Hopefully it won't come down to it but, if you had to, you could crash on my couch. Best of luck in the snakepit out there, sister...I know you'll land on your feet again soon.

Well, you've seen my bailout plan...

*sigh*

I'm so sorry. Just... crap!

Time to get "PONDERING......." off the ground... if it isn't already...

A walk on the beach sounds nice.

Take Sparky and let him splash in the waves. Guaranteed to make you smile, which will increase the perceived amount of sunlight up in this part of the country.
LOL

Sparrow, thank you. I have a feeling you might just have a direct line :-)

Doom, I've been doing what I can to prepare for a while, so that helps. And, yes, it is a relief to have it done. Thanks for your prayers, too.

Thank you, Dave. Kinda like a boil popped, finally ;-)

Bonnie, this is definitely a motivator!

Dianne, thanks. It's time for me to re-do my priority list, for sure.

Carteach0, thank you for the offer.
Seriously.

Enigma, wise words from two wise men. One door closed, another (or more) open.

Erica, another generous offer!
I've had to do this before and I hope all my experiences help me make my way smarter this time.

Joanie, we should schedule some schmoozin' time!

Mick, I'd held back spending some of the money I wanted to because of this hanging over my head. BUT... I will not let it go. I will not give up on Pondering.......

Larry, if I can increase your sunshine allotment up there then,
consider it done :-)

Jean, I still have your number!

It's not like I'm working, either.

Seriously. Just say so and I'll e-mail you.

Jean said...

ok, Joan... I think I have yours, too.

Freddie, very sweet of you, thanks.

Jean - you have my email. . you let me know what I can do if you need it. If you head up this way scoping out anything job wise you can stay here as long as you need.

You are in my prayers. If you need any leads in the frigid midwest let me know. Of course things are bad here too...

Brigid and HB... you folks are wonderful. Thank you so much.

That is so shitty, especially this time of year, but it could be the beginning of something new and amazing. People are at their best when their back is up against the wall...it's just so scary. Keep your mind clear and your body healthy and PRAY. God will use you and this situation if you let him.

I have a lakeside cabin in the rugged northwest mountains if you need to get away for awhile. It's yours as long as you want it. :)

Joining the others to offer my prayers and good thoughts. So very sorry to hear, but glad you are managing OK. Take care of you for a bit.

Teresa, that sounds veryyyyyyy inviting. Thank you, I'm trying to keep positive.

Jack, yeah, just a bit sucky, eh?

jck, you are a dear. Thank you :-)

Aw, fuck.

I really hate that this happened to you, Jean. Really really hate it.

Joining the others here, if you ever need a couch to crash on in S. Florida, it's yours. Probably a real bed, even.

And, joining in the prayers and well-wishes and hope for you. To my deep regret, there's no more I can do right now. But what little I can do is sent your way in megadoses.
