hey.
it's me.
thinking about
you.
all day.
remembering
your note that
said:
"I'm off. I'll be
in touch.
Please don't
worry.
Too much."
blessed to hear
your voice
before
you left,
my reply this time
was short...
Adios
and
Au Revoir.

How did you know I was leaving town for the weekend???
HA! ...we women have our ways ;-)
I've been thinking about this all day...why is it so hard to stop caring about someone that is hurting you? The pain of always being a second choice should certainly be reason enough.
Teresa - I have a dear friend who is going overseas to serve for a second time. Volunteering. He is passionate about this.
As much as it will make me worry while he is gone, I respect and care about him so much that I am wishing him well. And, I know he will be in touch as much as possible. It is important enough to him that I will support him as much as humanly possible. It will make him happy and bring him much satisfaction to be participating in the process of the improvements that need to be made.
I will be proud of him every day but I will also rejoice when he comes back.
This was written as I imagine our temporary 'good-bye for now' might be.
How bitter-sweat that is. It answers why we would never wish to live with a little heartbreak, the potential for great loss, and the hope for another time and chance. I really enjoy your stuff.
Thank you, dear Doom.
Life is chance, isn't it?
Lovely, that was.
Thanks, B.
Very well put.
Thank you, sir. And, welcome!
