Sweaty reality...

Wonder how long it will take me to fill it?
A week? Two? Three?

Ice water and aspirin will be consumed.

As a child I moved so often than we simply learned not to become attached to anything, which had the reverse effect on me. Now I don't know what to keep or throw. Still, I let women folk do that for me. If you can handle it, let someone else offer a subjective hand. Do a quick run, picking what must not go (pictures, clothes you actually do wear, and whatnot), then let someone else begin digging? Funny thing, my women are only good at tossing MY STUFF. Not so good on their own. At least my ego can be consoled by that.

I will say, when it is done, you will feel like a dog who just lost all her fleas! A new woman will emerge. When my mother had her housefire I think she was... relieved. Well, once she got over some of the more important losses. Even those, I think, weren't all bad. Ticks and fleas.

Foam and Doom - In the end, I think I'll surprise myself by how much gets tossed...or donated. Maybe a few things sold.

Not my favourite past-time. Good luck.

How long depends on how soon you want to go. Best advice? If it doesn't fit in two suitcases and one box you can mail to yourself, you don't need it.

I moved a lot as a youth also and have become very unattached to material things. Then, I had to clear my Mother's/Father's and MIL's estates and I SWORE to myself I would never leave so much behind. And then I thought... why live IN it, now? However, when priorities shift as your have so quickly, make sure you don't toss things you'll regret. That said.... Good luck!

I have a small whiteboard on the side of my refrigerator. Last night before I went to bed I wrote, "find zero again". Good luck finding your zero bubble Throwing things away and moving will likely do the trick :-)
