The only superstitions I buy into are:
1) NEVER open an umbrella in the house; and,
2) NEVER put shoes on a table or counter.
Both of those bring bad luck and, well, why tempt fate if you don't have to?
I also like to think that every time my ears ring it means someone's thinking about me. My understanding is that when your ear starts ringing, you're supposed to start thinking of the names of who might be thinking of you. And when the ringing stops, that's who's thinking about you.
Of course, I wouldn't hold my breath waiting on any these things to be proven as true...
My only Superstition is:
1) NEVER believe in Superstitions. You give the dark side reason to exist.

The only superstition that bugged me, at least before I realized I was into some superstition and changed, was stepping on cracks. Didn't help that my mother had a major back surgery when I was young. I have gotten over that. Of course, she had another back surgery... But she got better. Way too better, she is the feminine version of a tank! Ugh.
Still, that is me. Dabble in the arcane as you choose. But to believe might be to create? *boo*
I didn't even realize it was Friday the 13th until you made me look at the calendar Jean...looking back all in all it was a pretty good day.
Occasionally my birthday falls on a Friday. I can't remember a bad Friday 13th.
Heck, it's all 5 o'clock supernatural somewhere in the world, right? Let's have a cocktail!
Cheers, Kim!
I'll drink to that!!
Eating Brussels Sprouts is unlucky.
