Sparrow's haiku contest has begun.
This week's topic is WATER.
You have until midnight tonight to
submit your three-line entry. Go!
UPDATE: I left three entries this week.
People through your life
ebb and flow, in and out, like
the tide moves on shore.
......................
My boobs are my own
mae west, keeping me afloat
in the hotel pool.
.........................
much to my chagrin
the icemaker is broken.
my thirst goes unquenched.

I immediately began to think of The Rime of the Ancient Mariner and my haiku train got derailed...
ha...you have until midnight to get back on track :-)
And this week, it really IS midnight!
hehehe...thank you for that!
"People through your life
ebb and flow, in and out, like
the tide moves on shore."
I really like that .... A lot.
I really like the in and out part...
WHAT!!!! WHAT!!!!
I'm jus' sayin'...
Well, I missed the deadline. Oh well. Here it is anyway:
I pissed in the tub
The water went bright yellow
Bright, like the sun's rays
I hope Curmudgeon
Took a shower afterwards
Else he'll smell like piss.
Although the comments are pretty good too..the Mae West in the hotel pool just killed me.
You ARE a treasure.
Here is my belated offering.
I don't understand Haiku,
I'm no good at being brief,
At my age, I don't look very good in them either.
Okay...three lines, no rhymes...How'd I do?
Ron
BWAH!!!
I read your Mae West one over at Sparrow's. Luckily, I wasn't drinking anything at the time.
