Requirements...

Meetings. Counselors. Seminars.
Document. Document. Document.
Set up profile. Upload resume.
Job search. Job search. Job search.
Validate existence. Justify subsistence.

Looking for a job is a full-time job.

Last employer had another lay-off.
Remaining crew worries.

People who claim to be experts (in what, I'm not sure)
are saying the country is heading for another recession.

When did the first one end?

Is there anything more dehumanizing than modern-day hiring hoops?

Girl, hang in there.

Thanks, Joan. It's such a game.

It's only a recession when your neighbor has been laid off.
When it's you out of work it's either a Depression or an opportunity laid out in front of you, though hard to see, at times, they are.

True, Larry. Lookin' hard and squinting here.

The last one didn't end.

Keep looking Jeanie-Doll. You've landed on your feet before and you will again. I will keep you in my prayers until you get a job. After that you're on your own :-)
