if your mother is
one you wish to remember,
Sunday is the day.
if your attention
to her is only May and
December, pause now.
think what you'd be like
if her caring for you had
been that infrequent.

well, I liked Ma, and took her out on the town then and again.
But, if it wasn't enough, she understood, just as I understand my own daughter.
Anyway, if I break down and call her, all I'll hear is worms.
She's been down now for 23 years.
Well stated, Jean!
Ha! I only wished it was that infrequent when I was younger. Until I got hungry, or needed shoes, or wanted to go to the movie, or... I just now understand my kitten, Sassy, a bit better. *meow* She doesn't want me until she needs something... for now. Perhaps she will mature as I did, but much quicker!
Boneman,
You might be surprised. You just have to make the call using a special network. I talk to those I lost fairly often. Perhaps that is just me though, but I don't think so. They are there.
It seems that the older I get, the more I miss my mom. She's been gone almost 24 years.
