It's no picnic...

Folks in NE Ohio will need to get creative this weekend.
It's been raining off and on for days... and days... and days.
They (the weather people) aren't predicting much of a
break until maybe the middle of next week.

Still, we should be grateful for what we don't have:
no snow, no floods, no tornadoes, no mudslides, no fires.
Plus, good weather isn't required to keep the holiday
what it is meant to be.

Have a safe and peaceful weekend, my friends.

Amen, sister. By the way... sometimes you bring funny thoughts to my mind. Well, no... no constructions, or misconstructions, intended. Just... a chuckle, maybe. At least on this side of the screen. Enjoy the holiday. And that's a wonderful attitude. Sister.

I watched a wonderful program Canine Soldiers: Militarization of Love on my local PBS channel. Lot of info. I wasn't aware 13 states observe K-9 Veterans Day on March 13th. Ohio is one of the 13. I recommend the tv program if you can find it.

Have a wonderful Summer!
