a broken heart...

remembers the dream,
and breaks again.
remembers again.
breaks again.
again
and again.

As long as we remember the dreams, the heartbreaks don't seem to matter as much.

(sigh) but there is the dream, too sweet to let fade...

Wow....I guess that helps explain why it's hard for some people to "get over it" so to speak. Nicely written....and good to see you're still here!

Larry - seems to get a little harder each time, though.

Corby - sweet, indeed.

Mr G - boyhowdie, you've got some catchin' up to do! Good to see you again :)

You may have seen this somewhere before, or some facsimile there of, but.....

If it takes a dream to break a heart, then is it worth it to not dream just to save a heart...? me thinks not.

Kinda like, "Better to have loved and lost, then never to have loved at all."

Of course, this could all be a pile of poop and I could be talking out me arse too!!!

The heart just can't help but respond to the memory of love...

For now I'll settle for homemade biscuits and Gravy since it's Saturday.
