People will be busy finishing
their shopping for family
and friends.
Maybe they'll add a gift or donation for people they don't know.
Many people are nice like that.
Maybe they'll take time to reach out to some folks
they've been missing because the emails and phone calls
haven't happened in a while.
Everyone's life is busy.
Maybe they'll come across
a box or an album full of old
photos of dear ones no longer
living.
The memories might bring a
tear but also a smile.
To my friends and family near and far,
may your Christmas be Merry and Bright.

I'll send prayers for you and yours, Jean. Others as well, but I like naming names. In sanctified thought, it does mean more. I sure enjoyed the sentiments. And, should I get lost in life a bit, I'll wish you Merry Christmas now... though maybe later too. Be well.
Doom, I feel a good Christmas coming on here.
Merry Christmas to you, too, and thank you for the prayers.
Jean,
I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a healthy, Happy New Year! I would love to link your blog up to mine, so others can see it too, but I can't figure out how. Any pointers? Anyway, love you and hope you are staying snug.
