So, how was business on the first day in the Pondering Booth, you ask?...
I sold one (1) mug.
We'll see what happens Saturday and Sunday.

1 mug is better than no mug and may Saturday bring a minimum of 2. Growth is exponential. You'll do alright Jean, this type of endeavor is not for the fainthearted.
I am pulling for you, Jean. And, you could just be sitting and hoping. But you aren't, you decided to go for it. We need millions more like you. You are a marvel, and show what really did make America great, one mug at a time.
Stay as cool as you can, in as many ways as you can, and just keep at it. I won't feel your pain, not my style. But I might buy a mug, and suggest others do so.
*hugs*
Hnag tough, and figure out what sells. Besides sex.
i love your setup! its sleek its clean and its simple :) perfect for catching the eye!!
WM, today was another one (1) mug day. The other vendors say the heat keeps customers away. today was 97. They are predicting at least 99 tomorrow. As usual, my life is full of lessons in patience.
Thank you, Doom. There is something, and I cannot really explain it, that is pulling me to continue with this venture. I'm concerned but not panicky. Enthused and full of ideas.
Thank you for the hugs :-)
Anon, I'm thinking the best sellers are going to be the mugs and shirts. Not the framed prints so much. I think.
And, actually, I'll be adding a bit of sex-lite soon. The booth needs a bit of spicy culture.
Blaez, thanks! I've really had quite a few stop short and come in to look and read...and smile. My things are not really typical flea market products. It may take a while for them to get used to me.
wait...let's get back to that 'sex sells' stuff.
Now...when is your booth open?
just kidding d=))
one more, today?
Before when he said that, he meant sell 2, but, no less than 1.
It ain't easy, though, huh?
I wish you cool ocean breezesa to bring you customers up the ...wait. Oh. You're not doing that, is that right?
OK, well, many customers to you, gal!
I would like to place an order for two mugs.
If you're doing mail order, I'll take a mug and a shirt (and pay for the postage). My email addy is on the blog.
Hang in there. I'm thinking the heat may be the problem. 97 degrees would surely keep my badself in some air conditioned spot.
Berry, today was even hotter. Most of the vendors closed up early because of the heat and lack of crowd. Next week is supposed to be cooler and maybe rain some. That should help.
Mark, you sweetie ♥ I will email you soon.
Jimbo, ditto on the sweetie thing ♥
I'll be in touch soon.
From the pics, it does look like you've got a classy booth going. The layout and surfaces are way above the going paygrade look of most flea markets.
I wish I still had my studio. You'd find a nice, cool niche in it for your stuff.
You know, you're going to have to beat the streets of New Smyrna Beach and get your nice work into some boutiques there.
Joan, my booth does have a different look than most of the others.
New Smyrna! I forgot all about that artsy place. Thanks!
Hang in there Hon.
This seems so totally right up your alley.
When is the online store opening again?
L.R. I'm hoping for the end of this week. Hoping. This working for yourself has me bouncing off walls trying to keep it all organized.
Thanks for your encouragement ♥
I've been praying a bit more often of late, and your name to God's ear has been happening more often as well. I hope you have at least had a refreshing breeze or three for it? Well, anyway, there has been that.
There were slightly cooler temps today and right now is a lovely breeze coming in the window.
Thank you, Doom.
