I can't say about the notion, but come to think of it, it is a good question.
Only, personally, when I pass I will be chuckling so I sort of hope others move on to a few on their own, if need be or anyway. If I merit an obit, that is? I can see how some might not prefer that though.

I've read the obits for many years. Not sure why.
