deserted beach...

lull after summer
soon to be filled with snowbirds.
squawking for sunshine.

    In my mind, any Yankee who shows up in winter is a snowbird.

  7. Well, I figured it was about that time. We got us a fresh batch of sandbacks up here, all huddled around a big snowman, looking at the sky and hoping for sleet.
    You can spot them right off...they still wear about fifty coats each.
