Update...

My friend came home from the hospital
a few days ago. I spent the day with her today.
She looks great and feels much better every day.

Thanks to all you wonderful people for sending
prayers and good thoughts.

    I'm so glad!

    I love the part where they Come Home Feeling Better. Now just try to make sure she stays that way.

    You can give her a lollipop, but only if she's a good girl. ;-)

    (okay. maybe it sounds weird. uh, maybe it IS weird. but i almost always snag myself a lollipop. uh, because it amuses the nice medical people.)

    (plus i always say i was good.)
