Step 1...

...make an appointment to get my car checked and
take care of anything that needs fixin'.

It's going to need to be road worthy for at least one
or two trips in the near future.

Near future... has a nice ring to it, doesn't it?

UPDATE: Just sent an email inquiry to a company
in Tennessee. They do the exact same kind of work
I've been doing for 12+ years.

  1. The future is a good thing, as it beats the alternative. Just don't do with your car what I've done with my diet, which is, put it off.

  8. Tennessee is a beautiful state. Nice people, used to fly in there fairly regularly to Memphis.

You need anything on any road trip. . you call. . I can't fix a damn thing but AMEX platinum can.

Tennessee might be the lucky ones to have their whole state get nicer in the near future....

  13. Tennessee is about a half day's ride from the ranch.
'Course, you're going to have to relearn some of your southern talk.
Oh yeah, and Elvis IS king there abouts. Don't matter what religion you lean towards, just remember them words....and don't step on anyone's blue shade shoes.

  14. Berry, you're out of hiding!
    ...ummm, what southern talk?
I would have easier access to lots of places there, another good reason to be there.
