I'll be home for Christmas...

if only in my dreams.

dear god,
if there is one
if you're there,
keep them safe
and healthy.
oh, and peace.
peace on our planet,
please.
if you're not there,
it means I'm
talking to myself
again.
amen, I guess.

  3. Goldfish bowl (wee fish)
    a baby lamb (ewe)
a girl horse (mare) (That's grrrl for K9)
    some herons (egrets)
and a moose (not Bullwinkle, even though I'm a big fan.
So, repeat that two more times and end with an ear hopping along the ground and you have:

Wee Fish Ewe A Mare Egrets Moose
Wee Fish Ewe A Mare Egrets Moose
Wee Fish Ewe A Mare Egrets Moose

    and a hoppy new ear!

  4. The Christmas spark of hope...

From the twinkle in the eye of the child who sees Santa for the first time,

From the mom and dad who see those wide eyes filled with joy and yet terror,

From the Santa as the child sits warily upon his knee,

From whoever you believe is there to greet you when you've been here long enough.

Sad that some believe when it's over, it's over.

  5. I love this. The age-old questions beg answers that it seems we never get.

  7. Enjoy your time off, Jean, and call me if you get bored. We'll find some sort of trouble to get into!

  8. What Jim said. And what Bane said. Apparently I have no thoughts of my own this evening. Time for bed...

  10. God is an unutterable sigh, planted in the depths of the soul.
If you listen so very quietly, you will hear it.

    Have a wonderful Christmas Jean.
